John Newman - Career and early life

John Newman grew up in Settle in the Yorkshire Dales. At the age of 14 he started to play guitar and write his very own songs. Soon after he then learnt how to record his own songs and produce them himself, he even did his own house tracks and also did a bit of DJing. At the age of 20, John Newman moved to London and started his own band doing live gigs at lots of different venues. He then got signed to Island Records and released 'Cheating' as a download song.

In May 2012 he featured in Rudimental's single 'Feel The Love' and the single topped the UK charts. He then featured again in one of Rudimental's singles called 'Not Giving In' in November 2012. In June 2013 John Newman released his very own single 'Love Me Again', which is the song we are doing our music video too, which was a number 1 hit. He then released his next single 'Cheating' in October 2013 from his debut studio album 'Tribute' which he will release in mid October. From 2012 - 2013 he has become a world wide pop star who everyone knows about.
